From Des Moines: Take I-80 east to exit 182. Turn left onto Highway 146. Downtown Grinnell is about three miles down the road.
From Iowa City: Take I-80 west to exit 182. Turn right onto Highway 146. Downtown Grinnell is about three miles down the road.
Highway 6: Grinnell can also be reached by taking US Highway 6, which runs parallel to I-80. Highway 6 (known as Sixth Avenue in Grinnell) runs through town.
